August really flew to me! O.O My work overload is to blame for that… u.u At least, I was able to keep following the boys activities and it sure was a month full of 24hs TV related activities! So, before the actual 24hs TV begins, let’s catch up with what happened on Jun-kun’s month!
During the whole month, there were several TV Shows related to 24hs TV – pre-shows, countdows, music shows, CMs and so on… At each show, they let us know a little more about what is to come! This week each of the boys appeared on NTV’s news shows to promote 24hs TV and, last Thursday, Jun-kun appeared at Zip, Pon and News Every!
So far, we could learn that Jun-kun will conduct a brass band from the affected areas as the maestro; Riida will follow a girl who lost her mother at the earthquake pursuing her dream of being a judo champion; Aiba-chan will follow a family who fights with a disease and he also supported a handicapped girl who will climb a mountain (he made her a wrist band, how adorable can he be?); Nino will follow a mother and her daughter with a past of child abuse; finally, Sho-chan will talk about a girl who died at the earthquake and whose dream was to be on Nadeshiko Japan, he will play soccer with her teammates and Sawa-san, treasuring her memory. The boys also visited several places at the affected areas and interacted mainly with the elderly and the children!
Still on promoting 24hs TV, each of the boys went to NTV’s variety shows and Jun-kun went to Tore last Monday! It was so fun and trilling at the same time! Of course, he did really well! *proud fangirl* And he was so gorgeous (as always), especially with his hair style looking like the one of his Kindaichi days! *.*
Finally, as five, the boys were on Ichiban Song Show last Wednesday, again to promote 24hs TV! They talked about their memories of the last two 24hs TV they hosted and Jun-kun chose the moment Nino read his letter to the members as the memory that left a huge impression on him! ^.^ Oshima-san was there too and, again, she showed us how dedicated she is as Jun-kun’s fangirl, it was really fun! XD Unfortunately, the mystery about this year’s letter keeps without answer… On the musical side, the boys performed a medley of Arashi, Happiness and Face Down and they performed Akashi for the first time, they were really gorgeous! *.*
Since this month is all about 24hs TV, Nissan will air new CMs during the special show to stimulate people to donate since they will give secret passwords on the CMs and, with the passwords, it’s possible to access Nissan site and its secrets contents and, doing that, an automatic donation of 10 yen to 24hs TV will happen! ^.^ The CMs will feature the boys talking about their dreams to the future – Jun-kun wants to hold a concert in the moon! *.*
Talking about their regular TV Shows, I must say I am puzzled… Because, for me, they keep being fun! But the ratings are not as good as they used to be which makes me sad and worried… u.u
Anyway, VS Arashi is always so much fun in my opinion, the highlights of the last three shows were Jun-kun as the MDA, Riida knowing Jun-kun’s underwear color and talking about it on national television (my Juntoshi heart) and the boys supporting high school teams on rolling coin tower contest – it was fun and touching to watch all the teams and their effort! ^.^
On HnA, we had Matsumiya sharing a house and receiving Perfume as guest – it was such a precious show, full of epic moments, super fun! ^.^ They danced, watched DVDs, made onigiris and they received a visit of mascots from Hiroshima – Jun-kun was certainly happy because of that and showed us his adorable chibi side! ^.~
Because he sure likes mascots since forever! XD
Finally, on Shiyagare, we had the five of them dressed as mafia guys and a special “scene” with Matsumiya and Juntoshi, acting as the boss (first Nino, then, Riida) and the one who serves him (Jun-kun)! ^.^ On the last one, the guests were Taka and Toshi and Hokuto family, all supporters of 24hs TV!
Tomorrow (today in Japan), it is finally 24hs TV! I am prepared to cry! XDDD
To end this post, a little personal story. Last Saturday, me and my RL friend Ci-chan (blindmaiden) decided to try the famous Jun-kun’s special toast – the one with margarine, honey and mayonnaise! We were not sure of how it would taste since it is not a common mix but, to our surprise, it was really yummy! We even had another go! XD Each of the ingredients alone on the bread has a “heavier” feeling to the stomach, but, when they are mixed, it becomes something “lighter” and well balanced! I really liked it! Thanks, Jun-kun! ^.~
That’s it for now… Next, Jun-kun’s b-day! \o/
I know I haven’t been too much active on LJ and that I need to reply some messages, but, please, bear with me in this complicated time of my life at work… I will get back to you all as soon as I can! ^.^
Thanks in advance for the ones who comment! ^.^
